Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) Pay scale: Pay Band -2, Rs. 9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month. Number of vacancies: 10 (UR-05, SC-02, OBC-03) Age Limit (as on 28/06/2013): Between 20 to 25 years. Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized University or Institution. Head Constable (Telecommunication) Pay scale: Pay Band –I, Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month. Number of vacancies: 369 (UR-186, SC-55, ST-28, OBC-100) Age Limit (as on 28/06/2013): Between 18 to 25 years. Education Qualification: 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university. Constable (Telecommunication) Pay scale: Pay Band –I, Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month. Number of vacancies: 65 (UR-33, SC-10, ST-05, OBC-17) Age Limit (as on 28/06/2013): Between 18 to 23 years. Education Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent. Diploma or Certificate Course from an Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized Institution is desirable. Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC category should pay the fee of Rs. 50/- (Fifty only) (non-refundable) as application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying fee. How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled, in the prescribed proforma as per the notification. The application, either type written or neatly hand written in ink/ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application should be sent alongwith application fee, and enclosures to the Post Box No 344, GPO Lucknow (UP). The application must reach on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 28th June, 2013 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 5th July, 2013. Written Test for all the post will be held on same day/time. Hence, candidates are advised to apply for only one post. If more than one applications are filled by candidates are filled by candidates all applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
