In 2010 Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Ms. Mayawati decide to divide
UPTU (Uttar Pradesg Technical University) into GBTU LUCKNOW (Gautam
Buddh Technical University) work for east UP and MTU NOIDA (Mahamaya
Technical University) work for west UP.
But now Samajwadi Party (SP)'s Akhilesh Yadav (Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh) want again to make these both new university work as UPTU.

- There is different type of rule and study in a single State which is not good
- Student who complete degree get different types of degree
- Study and exam schedule is also different by which student are confused
Party give example of Tamil Nadu where there was a single university
then they divide it in 3 universities after that they not able to manage
it properly and after that Tamil Nadu government make that 3 university
single again
