Kannauj (U.P) to get Solar Power Training Centre

UP Govt. Announced to setup a non-conventional energy training centre with residential campus for the trainees at Kannauj (U.P). Proposed to be constructed over an area of around four acre, the centre would essentially provide training to youth in installation of rooftop solar equipments and its maintenance.
Institute proposed to be constructed by  UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam at an estimated cost of around Rs 20 crore in Village Anaugi  Jalalabad block of Kannauj District in Uttar Pradesh. This will be the second such non-conventional energy institute after the one in Lucknow. Project officer, New Energy Development Authority (Neda), SK Gupta confirmed that the training programme would start by November 2. “Six-day training would be imparted in Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC),” he said.
