Important Tips for filling the choice locking::
The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and
other professional colleges has been assigned to Gautam Buddh Technical
University, Lucknow by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the Govt. of
Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the
constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of
the Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow to
supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after
referred as UPSEE-2013 being conducted by Gautam Buddh Technical
University, Lucknow. The CAB has absolute rights for conducting
UPSEE-2013, and to decide about modalities of admissions and allotment
of seats. The jurisdiction of CAB extends to colleges / institutes
affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida. The CAB is authorised to
take every decision regarding conduct and admissions through UPSEE-2013.
1. Online choice filling on UPSEE.NIC.IN will be available from 9th July to 17th July 2013On 17th July at 12 pm your choices will be locked by the system itself.
2. You should ensure that you have got good bandwidth connection at home or at cyber cafe.
3. You should not be motivated by the person sitting next to you. After
research and survey you should fill the choice. Since you can change
your choice every date, so you should regular do the survey and update
yourself, give vast choice and should give minimum 300 choices. Although
it will be a tedious job, you should fill more options for your career.
4. The previous status of last year opening and closing rank is going
to be bogus this time as more no. of participant is joining counseling
this year.
5. Since more number of document verification centres are
there from 30 to 130, might be possible your 3rd or 4th choice
institutions will be filled first and u will be left with bottom number
of choices. As per you rank try to fill most relevant colleges and if
your choice is amongst one of the document verification centre, then try
to rationalize it by filling that college first since it will be
visited by more number of students.
6. Please fill the choice as per
the VIBGYOR chart rankings provided by UPTU. Its already on the website
and for city wise you can filter the college from your city and then can
compare with the uptu ranking chart.
STEPS: Print the vibgyor chart
Decide your city option
Filter the college of that city
Write the college code and ranking
Arrange the choice
Update it on the portal
2nd day, again if you find any further update/info about other college, you can change your choice
BRANCH IS NOT IMPORTANT, INFRASTRUCTURE/ENVIRONMENT/
Try to fill maximum choices of all the branches in the colleges of preferences.
Be ready with Rs 500 draft and other documents right on the first day of document verification.
