UPSEE Seat Allotment is done after the counselling of the student and document verification is completed. The UPSEE Seat Allotment details can be used by the students to check for the seat allotment guidelines as per the Govt. guidelines. The Seat Allotment of the UPTU helps students plan and apply accordingly for counselling. Students should consider the guidelines of the UPTU Seat Allotment to make their choice about the institute or university best suitable to them.
UPSEE Seat Allotment:
Students should note that all admissions at the institutions affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida, will be only through UPSEE-2013
These seats are the number remaining after deduction of seats as per clause 2.4 which allots 5% of the seats to NRI students
Seat Allotment for UPTU/ UPSEE for Private Institutions is as follows:
Management Quota:
15% of the sanctioned intake for NRI candidates.
The notice for admissions for this category will be published in May, 2013.
Students under this category need not appear for UPSEE 2013.
Only B.Arch students will have to appear for an Aptitude test as per notification.
Through JEE Main (2013): 20 % out of which
10% for UP domicile candidates as per UP State merit list (by State Reservation Policy)
10% through All India merit without reservations
Through UPSEE 2013:
65% of the sanctioned intake
Students must have met the eligibility criteria as specified.
Students who have passed the Class XII or equivalent from outside UP, the domicile certificate of either of the parents has to be submitted.
Note: The remaining seats in various courses offered after the deduction of the management quota will be offered through UPSEE 2013 counselling procedure.
Kashmiri Migrants: As per latest guidelines of AICTE and UP State Govt.
This allotment will be over and above the sanctioned intake.
Students can take direct admissions under this category.
It is limited to one seat per institute affiliated to GBTU,Lucknow and MTU, Noida
Foreign Nationals (FN) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC): Seat allotment will be as per the latest guidelines of the AICTE as per sanctioned intake.
These are supernumerary seats and cannot be allotted to any other category under any circumstances.
Students must furnish proof of their status as per guidelines
They need not appear for UPSEE 2013.
