The Institute came into existence in 1993 by the joint efforts of renowned personalities in academics Dr. P. L. Maggu (Former Director IMT, Ghaziabad, Founder Director of IMS, Ghaziabad, Director-In-Charge, IPM, Lucknow, Founder Executive Director, GSBA, Ghaziabad, Chairman, IIEMS, Dehradun, Chairman, GSBA Engineering Institute, Roorkee), Winner of about 60 awards for achieving excellence in Management Education and that of Mr. Russi Mody (Former MD and Chairman, TISCO) in industry.
The objective of this Institute is to promote an Institution in a unique position to provide comprehensive, innovative and international management or technical or higher education for all fresh and in service candidates who would like to improve their technical and professional skills, knowledge, attitude and operational capabilities.
GSBA is one of the top 50 Business Schools in the country that has been offering its PGDBA Program with a difference since its inception in 1993. The academic, professional practice and performance standards of the Institute match with the world-class Business Schools. GSBA students are being imparted management education in a very cohesive, disciplined and professional environment. The Institute leaves no stone unturned to prepare its students as perfect decision-makers and pathfinder managers.

The Institute provides the latest Audio-Video learning equipments for Lectures and has developed its everlasting relationship with the industries for providing practical training to the students through industrial visits, interaction of executives with the students and undergoing Summer Training. The Institute's campus is residential which consists of separate hostels for boys and girls students equipped with mess facility, Common Entertainment Room, Academic Block, Administrative Block, Computer Center, Library, Syndicate Halls, Open Lawns, Institute's Canteen and a mini shopping complex with banking facility. The Library consists of world class collection of books, periodicals, journals and magazines; the Computer Lab consists of IBM PCs with RFL Internet facility, LAN and Campus Agreement with Microsoft. It has a separate Wi-fi Computer Centre with the latest technology.

The Institute has employed highly experienced and professionally well qualified young faculty members with background from industries and education who are dynamic and possess management skills as a trainer. The interactive and participating methods of learning have been introduced The students are tested for their comprehensive skills at the end of each semester. The students are encouraged to make maximum use of Library and Computer Lab which are available to the students in between 9.30 AM to 10.30 PM. The learning environment is always alive and develops in the students the best skills of communication and personality development. Case Studies, Workshops and sharing knowledge and experiences with the top executives of the industries are the essential parts for continuous evaluation process. The students are provided assistance for the Summer Training and Job Placement.

GSBA owns the responsibilities of preparing young managers with global managerial capabilities to meet the new and exacting demands of Business facing the challenges in the fast changing business and administrative scenario.

The institute conforms to the creation of the ability among young graduate for quick and appropriate decisions which will maintain economic performance and at the same time enhance corporate ethics and social responsibility.

The Institute prepares young management graduates with a difference having rigorous analytical skills, a practical orientation and the ability to perform under pressure. Objective of The Institute
The focused objective of our Business School is to develop it as a center of excellence learning for imparting Professional education planning for future career. The students get training to use multi-decision making approach to comprehend about the nature of the Business and to learn how to work in a cohesive manner in a team for achieving the excellence in industries along with developing their personality worth for a dynamic Professional Manager with entrepreneur ship and path finder managerial skills.

Learning Methods
The students are groomed through various learning methods based on Case Studies, Class Lectures, Case studies Seminars, Group Discussions, individual and Team Presentations, Computer aided knowledge, Role playing, participation in extra-curricular activities in sports or music or doing other social responsibility bearing activities and performance in comprehensive tests to prepare them as Manager with multitasking skills.
